Chhlat Health Advisory Board was established in 2021 to provide the necessary solutions to Chhlat Health’s growth and increase in project demand. The Advisory board contains those with desire and skill sets that are needed for Chhlat health to be successful. We currently have 4 committees supervising projects that are crucial to the development and execution of our Senior Care Trip this fall.

Nadene Kimball - Social Marketing Director

Nadene grew up in Cache Valley, Utah. Soon after graduating from high school she went and served a mission in Cambodia where she fell in love with the people and way of life there. This experience made her realize that she wanted to pick a profession that she could make a difference in people's life She is currently studying in the social work program at Utah State University in hopes of owning her own mental health practice someday. Before that she wants to gain a lot of experience in the non profit area of social work and help with the social problems of third world countries like Cambodia.

Kaitlyn Tan - Social Marketing Specialist

Kaitlyn is studying public health and pre-med at Brigham Young University. She plans to attend medical school afterwards and pursue a career in women's health. Kaitlyn loves her family and values the importance of families in the Khmer culture. Through Chhlat Health, she hopes to bring communities together to support an amazing project: giving seniors in Cambodia a new way of living and longevity.

Kurt Davis - Director of Survey and Data

Kurt’s History with Cambodia began 9 years ago when He had the opportunity to live and serve in Phnom Penh and surrounding Provinces for 2 years. The time Kurt spent in Cambodia was life changing and he fell in love with the people, language, and culture. A couple years later duty called again and Kurt had the opportunity to return to Cambodia as translator for a vision medical team serving 2000 Cambodians and their families. He attended Brigham Young University - Hawaii where he studied Business Management. Kurt grew up and currently lives in Ellensburg, Washington with his Wife. Kurt has been fortunate to have continued to speak Khmer and have Cambodian relationships in His local community. He looks forward to being able to serve in this capacity and be a part Cambodia’s continued growth and success

Jordan Denkers - Healthcare Services Director

Jordan grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho and has always aspired to work in the healthcare industry. After graduating from high school, he served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cambodia for two years, where he fell in love with the country, the culture, and, most importantly, the people. His experiences in Cambodia instilled a desire to give back to the country that taught and shaped him so much. While studying at Brigham Young University, Jordan was able to return back to Cambodia several times to work on genealogy and grassroots development projects. Jordan now holds a Bachelor of Public Health degree from BYU and is currently pursuing a Master of Nursing degree at Ameritech College of Healthcare. He looks forward to serving Cambodia in this new capacity.
